The Unified Patent Court (UPC) has been a reality since June 1, 2023. It is already shifting the boundaries in global patent litigation. Due to the availability of a pan-European injunction within a rocket-docket time frame, it does not come as a surprise that the first UPC cases – including preliminary injunctions – were already filed.
